Privacy

Your night. Your privacy.

A short guide to the information used by Sesh (called Grænsen in Danish) and this website.

Who is responsible?

Oscar Hedeby Iversen develops Sesh, called Grænsen in Danish, and is responsible for the personal data described here. This policy covers the app and seshapp.party. Contact us using the support details on this website.

Playing and saving your evening

We process player names, selected gender, game progress, results and technical identifiers to run and save games. The app can create an anonymous service identity without a visible login. If you choose to link Apple, Google or email, we also process the information needed for that connection. We use Firebase/Google for identity, storage and app services, and SpacetimeDB for Tour.

Photos, sound and location

Features you choose may use camera, microphone, Photos, music-library or location permissions. Game photos, videos and recordings can be stored on your device and in cloud storage, with access for the relevant group. Finished Memories videos are made on your device and shared through the system share sheet; those finished videos are not uploaded by the app. Location supports nearby places and check-in verification. Your precise visitor location is not shown to other players.

Sharing, purchases and diagnostics

Names, check-ins, contributions and leaderboard information you publish can be visible to others. Apple handles purchases; the app uses transaction information to provide access. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics support usage measurement and troubleshooting, including technical identifiers, app/device information, bounded gameplay events and crash reports. Names, private assignments, challenge text, media and precise location are excluded from our gameplay analytics events.

Why we process data

We process data needed to provide the features you request to perform our agreement with you. Keeping the service secure, diagnosing faults and answering support requests serve our legitimate interests in operating the service. Legal obligations may also require processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. Device permissions can be changed in Settings.

Storage and this website

Saved games and original media remain available after an evening ends or is archived; the twelve-hour inactivity limit is not a deletion deadline. Deleting the app does not necessarily delete cloud records. Providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. This website adds no analytics tools or marketing cookies. Cloudflare processes technical requests, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect it.

Your choices and rights

Contact support about access, correction or deletion of your information. Depending on the processing, you may also have rights to restriction, objection and data portability. We may need information to identify the relevant records. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
